ABROMA AUGUSTAFOLIA (Cutch—Ulat-Kambal)


N. O. ---Sterculiaceae.

Synonyms:
Hind, Cutch—Ulat-Kambal;
Beng, Cutch—Ulat-Kambal;
Bomb, Olak-tambal.

Description:--
A perennial plant 10 to 15 ft. high with large flat leaves. The root has a peculiar thick, fibrous and brown bark.

Found in :- Wild throughout the hotter parts of India from Uttarpardesh to Sikkim, Behar, Bengal, and Assam.

Part Used:--
The fresh leaves.

Preparation:--
(a)Tincture Q: =Drug Strength 1/10
Abroma aug, fresh pulp containing solids100gm.
Plant moisture 300 Cc.= 400
Strong alcohol800 Cc.
To make one thousand cubic centimeters of tincture.

(b) Dilutions: 2x and higher with dispensing alcohol.
